Description: Variety Playhouse is a music venue in Atlanta Georgia located in the neighborhood of Little Five Points. Variety was first opened in 1940 as a movie theatre under the name Euclid Theatre. After serving a variety of purposes, Variety Playhouse was converted into a music venue in 1990. The venue has a sloped floor with seating in the balcony and the main floor area. The front is open for general admission standing room. Variety Playhouse has hosted artists across the music spectrum including Death Cab for Cutie, Norah Jones and Ryan Adams.
