Description: Lowes Motor Speedway is 1.5 mile long oval speedway located just outside of Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina. The speedway seats 167000 as well as 50000 in the infield. Originally built in 1959, it became the first track to offer nighttime superspeedway racing in 1992. Its largely considered to be the home base of NASCAR since 90% of the respective teams are located within 50 miles of the raceway. Its featured cup races include the Bank of America 500 and the Coca-Cola 600.
