Description:Raleigh Memorial Auditorium is main venue that comprises the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh, North Carolina. Originally opened in 1932 to replace the City Auditorium, it was commemorated to the brave citizens of Raleigh who died during World War I. Its Greek Revival Structure complements the North Carolina State Capitol which sits a few blocks down Fayetteville Street. Progress Energy Center is also comprised of Meymandi Concert Hall, Fletcher Opera Theatre, Kennedy Theatre and Lichtin Plaza.

Description: Lowes Motor Speedway is 1.5 mile long oval speedway located just outside of Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina. The speedway seats 167000 as well as 50000 in the infield. Originally built in 1959, it became the first track to offer nighttime superspeedway racing in 1992. Its largely considered to be the home base of NASCAR since 90% of the respective teams are located within 50 miles of the raceway. Its featured cup races include the Bank of America 500 and the Coca-Cola 600. 
Description: Time Warner Cable Arena or TWC Arena is a sports and entertainment venue located in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. It plays home to the Charlotte Bobcats (NBA), and was officially opened by the Rolling Stones in October 2005. It was originally opened as the Charlotte Bobcats Arena, but changed to Time Warner Cable in 2008 when the naming rights were sold. The arena also serves as home ice for the Charlotte Checkers, a minor league hockey team playing in the ECHL.
Description: Bojangles Coliseum is an arena and sports venue located in Charlotte, North Carolina. It opened in 1955 as the Charlotte Coliseum. At that time, it was the largest unsupported steel dome in the world. Known to the locals as “the Old Coliseum” or “the Big I,” it housed the ABA Charlotte Cougars from 69-74. Its also hosted top concert acts from the 60s through the 80s from Elvis Presley, Rolling Stones, KISS and the Grateful Dead.

Description: Asheville Civic Center is an entertainment venue located in downtown Asheville, North Carolina. It used to serve as the home to the Asheville Altitude NBDL before they moved to Tulsa as well as the UHL’s Asheville Smoke. Its also served as a concert venues to several high profile events like Widespread Panic and Phish. Local government has been under pressure to renovate or replace the aging Civic Center, but to date no action has been implemented.
